Up and down my right side is a chain gang of tiny sadistic bastards playing havoc with my nerves - specifically the ones that run from my ass to my ankles. I have had sciatica before and each time this prickly creep returns to visit, much fun is not had. Fortunately, I had a lovely pain elimination concoction on hand last night so I was able to sleep, but damn! Nothing like being reminded, yet again, how relatively easy it is to hurt myself. Did I bend wrong? Stretch wrong. Is it Yoga’s fault?? Clearly I am exercise impaired.
I don’t know what I did specifically that set this delightful nerve cacophony in motion, but I will cheer its retreat from my butt most heartily. I’ll even do a happy dance.
Well, I’ll attempt one.
Lo! And Behold! The whining ceases.
Happy Friday everyone! We’re getting whupped with snow this evening (9-12 inches) so of course my daughter’s 12th birthday party is tomorrow at the local YMCA. It is supposed to change over to freezing rain at some point in the early AM tomorrow so nothing is canceled. Yet. If you hear a tantrum of unearthly proportions coming from a vaguely northeasterly direction tomorrow afternoonish, sorry for the noise.

Sorry, Sweetie. I wish I knew some tricks to help you, but alas. I, too, am very much hoping that the weather changes enough so as not to put the kabosh on our party plans, too. There won’t be so much “tantrum” as weeping from this side, though; Beanie is far more likely to get sad than angry.
(and HOLY SHIT is that illustration that of a man! Truly - that’s my husband’s shape right there - though, of course, not all transparent-like…)
