Hellooooooo?

OCTOBER THIRD AND NATIONAL DELURKING DAY!!!

I have been keeping this blog for just over a year now (Happy Anniversary, ME!), mostly to explore writing issues, wordily pick at some of the stuff life throws at my windshield, and to interact with other similarly explorative personalities.  I have met some truly superlative individuals, been blown away by personal stories of love and loss and how to cope with extremely difficult and devastating issues and  I have laughed my keister off at some of the incidents and perspectives many of you write so eloquently about. As a teacher, I am always open to new ways of looking at things and great ideas to share with my students and many of you have provided and continue to provide rich fodder for my teaching life;  for all of this, I am grateful.

This place is also host to my silliness, for my reverence for things to do with my children and the life my husband and I share with them, for my writing about our dogs and our holistically-minded, organic and environmental perspective.  Sometimes, I post about my slack-jawed wtf moments, the ones that push buttons and make me sit up and react; many of YOU provide those moments.
