OK, give me the sales pitch on Torchwood, please. I’ve heard a lot about how good it is but I’ve never watched and have no idea what it’s actually about.
Giraffes, huh? I did not know this about you…
Kizz, Torchwood is basically a group of bisexual alien fighters in Cardiff. Led by an immortal (played by the openly gay and truly fabulous John Barrowman), Torchwood is a sister show to Doctor Who (its letters rearranged spell Torchwood) and features a character introduced two seasons ago on that show. The dialogue is highly charged, the characters interesting and flawed and I love it. The fanfic rocks, too.
It airs in the UK on Wednesdays and can usually be found on the net by Thursday.
I love giraffes, mostly because they’re SO improbable. For all I know, they don’t actually exist and are merely anamatronic… but they’re pretty spectacular. Aliens, maybe.
